What is Vibe & Create?

Vibe & Create is a 6-week guided art therapy group designed to help you express, process, and release emotions that can be difficult to put into words. Through therapist-led creative activities, you’ll explore your inner experience while working toward one meaningful, completed project.

Who is this group for?

This group is designed for teens (ages 11–17) who may:

  • Have difficulty expressing their thoughts or emotions
  • Feel overwhelmed, anxious, or shut down
  • Enjoy creative outlets like art, music, or hands-on activities
  • Benefit from a supportive, small-group environment

No prior art experience is needed.

What can I expect during each session?

Each 90-minute session includes:

  • A guided creative activity led by a therapist
  • Time for individual expression and reflection
  • Gentle opportunities to share (never forced)
  • A calm, structured environment designed to feel safe and supportive

Over the 6 weeks, participants will build toward completing one cohesive art project.

Is this a traditional art class?

No. This is not about learning art techniques or creating something “perfect.”
The focus is on using creativity as a tool for emotional expression, self-awareness, and release.

Do participants have to talk or share?

No. Sharing is always optional.
Participants are encouraged to engage in a way that feels comfortable to them—whether that’s through creating, observing, or gradually opening up over time.

What are the benefits of art therapy?

Art therapy can help:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Improve emotional awareness
  • Provide a healthy outlet for expression
  • Support confidence and self-esteem
  • Create a sense of calm and focus

What is included in the cost?

The $199 investment includes:

  • All 6 guided sessions (90 minutes each)
  • All materials needed for the project
  • A small-group, therapist-led experience
  • A completed take-home art piece at the end of the program

What if a session is missed?

We understand that things come up.
If a session is missed, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. While sessions cannot be refunded or rescheduled individually, we will do our best to help participants stay connected to the overall project.

Where do sessions take place?

All sessions are held in-person at The Centered Life Therapy in a calm, thoughtfully designed space.

How many participants are in each group?

Groups are intentionally kept small to create a safe, connected, and supportive environment.

When does the program begin?

The next session begins April 25th and runs for 6 consecutive Saturdays.

How do I register?

Spots are limited and filled on a first-come basis.

We recommend reserving your spot early to ensure availability.
