Hey there, I’m Jeni! It would be amazing to work with you.
Co-Founder, Clinical Director, Therapist, Dog Mom to Tank
“Everyone has something unique they bring to the table and a different story to share.”
Therapy is one of the most vulnerable things you’ll ever do. Sometimes, the hardest thing to do is to pick up the phone and ask for help. It’s a personal investment in you. I acknowledge and respect your courage for taking the first step – exploring your therapy options.
There is no unique formula for healing and recovery. My hope is that you gain clarity and increase your insight after sessions with me, applying what you’ve learned about yourself in your everyday life. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard and understood.
I specialize in helping you through grief, loss, and life transitions. I’ve been a therapist for a decade, helping people resolve inner conflict and gain tools and insight from it.
My therapy journey started in my first year of college, feeling disconnected from life and my purpose. I went to a counselor who told me that I had hidden talents and encouraged me to take time for myself and look deep within. She put me in two courses: Intro to Psychology (my professor would later become my mentor and still is to this day!) and Intro to Sociology. I discovered a new calling – therapy.
Throughout my life, I’ve naturally listened to people and closely observed the world around me. Relationships and their inner-workings intrigue me. As a highly empathetic person, I can pick up on what someone needs and connect with a lot of people. At the heart of what I do, I love to help others.
One of the biggest gifts I bring to The Centered Life is building relationships. I thrive on getting to know people. Also, I’m an informed, thoughtful decision maker, able to look at things from a 360-degree view.
I love getting to know your story and I also love time to myself. I’m an introverted extrovert that enjoys being around family & friends. My Pomeranian-Chihuahua, Tank, is my world. Cooking and baking are two of the best ways for me to decompress. I love to travel, experience new adventures and explore new places. I stay active by working out and hiking.
