Jasmin Ortiz
Clinical Intern
Hi, I’m Jasmin! I’m so excited to be part of The Centered Life and to create a space where you can show up as yourself—without judgment, pressure, or needing to have everything figured out.
I especially enjoy working with children, teens, and young adults who are trying to make sense of themselves, their relationships, and the changes happening around them. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, worried about the future, or like you don’t quite fit in. Maybe you know something doesn’t feel right but aren’t sure how to explain it. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and have someone in your corner while you figure things out.
I believe there is no “right” way to feel or one path to feeling better. My goal is to get to know you as a person—not just focus on the problem you’re bringing into therapy. Together, we can explore what’s been weighing on you, understand yourself a little better, and figure out what you want your next steps to look like.
I also believe that therapy should feel like a place where you can be curious. You don’t have to know exactly what you need from therapy before you begin. We can discover that together, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Outside of counseling, I’m someone who loves trying new things and picking up new hobbies. Some days you’ll find me reading, painting, playing video games, or watching a good movie. Other days, I’m out with friends playing Magic: The Gathering, thrifting, checking out a new coffee shop, or going to a concert. I’m always interested in learning something new—and I’d love to learn what makes you, you!
Jasmin is currently completing her clinical training at The Centered Life. Intern sessions are offered at a discounted rate, providing a more accessible option for individuals and families looking for support.
