“Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!”
I specialize in working with children and adolescents who struggle with BIG emotions, feelings of depression and anxiety and those who are impacted by traumatic events or experiences. I am excited and passionate to support families from diverse cultures and the specific challenges they face. It’s important for me to work as a team with my clients so that I can build connection and help them gain greater insight. I would describe my style as a therapist as authentic, relationship focused, and compassionate.
I feel extraordinarily fulfilled when working with the Latinx community to de-stigmatize mental health and make sure they have a safe space to receive support. I am bilingual and love that I can speak both English and Spanish to be able to help more people!
We face many obstacles in our life and if we allow it, they can facilitate growth and create great strength! What I bring to the table is a multidimensional lens which includes mindfulness, creativity and a focus on meeting my clients with a tailored approach that fits their unique needs.
When I am not working with kids and families, I love to take walks with my dog, attend concerts and travel.
